Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Glasgow, Calgary,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Beau (19(6) - 3) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Harry Leitch(11(3) - 3(3) - 1) from Burnaby, Canada.  Both Beau and Leitch weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Spade, and the three ringside judges are Charles Wardrop, Dale Biggs and Sean Camlin.  

Round 1: 

Leitch lands a hard jab.

Beau could be stopped here, if Leitch can find the right shot!  Leitch lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, KNOCKING BEAU DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Beau has now recovered from that shot earlier.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Beau dabs at his face checking for damage.  Beau has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Leitch whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  BEAU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Beau switches the action to the outside.  Leitch is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Leitch drives a telling left uppercut into his opponents body.  BEAU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Beau now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Leitch tries to land an overhand right, but Beau sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.

Beau tries to keep the action at long range.  Leitch hits home with a cross.

Leitch lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Leitch senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Beau and just needs the right shot.  Leitch EXPLODES a MASSIVE left hook into his opponents face.  BEAU IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Leitch!
