Santiago Sahagun vs Juan Obando

Boxing Daily Report from the Reindorf Promotions promoted show at Juarez Fosco, Juarez,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

Clearly Reindorf Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Sahagun (3 - 4 - 2) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Juan Obando(14 - 5) from Juarez, Mexico.  Sahagun weighed in at 129 pounds, while Obando weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quiqui Menor, and the three ringside judges are Diego Blandon, Angel Morales and Rio Cardoso.  

Round 1: 

Sahagun advances into close range.  Obando lands a left hook.  Obando ties up his opponent.  Sahagun tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Obando behind the head.
