Cipriano Ahumada vs Angel Escudero

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Puebla Vela, Puebla,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Puebla Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cipriano Ahumada (17 - 0) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Angel Escudero(11 - 2) from Tehuacan, Mexico.  Ahumada weighed in at 225 pounds and 9 ounces, while Escudero weighed in at 231 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Barrera, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Chavis, Urvano Barraza and Seferino Leiva.
