Lukman Obafemi vs Olufemi Okonkwo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Oyo State promoted show at Ogenyi Idehen Gym, Ogbomosho,  taking place on 24/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Oyo State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lukman Obafemi (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Oyo, Nigeria and Olufemi Okonkwo(10 - 7 - 1) from Ibadan, Nigeria.  Obafemi weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Okonkwo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ifeanyi Dosunmu, and the three ringside judges are Will Akintoye, Irfan Zahedi and Julius Ekpukhon.
