Ewan Vannett vs William Ridpath

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at North Shore Swanson, North Shore,  taking place on 27/05/2026:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Vannett (10 - 0 - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and William Ridpath(7 - 8(1) - 4) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Vannett and Ridpath weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Waraki Kawau, Kyle Stine and James Woodburn.
