Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kaduna State promoted show at Mudashiru Ogoli Gym, Zaria,  taking place on 27/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Akwashiki (7 - 1) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Irfan Kamal(11 - 1) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Akwashiki weighed in at 121 pounds And 12 ounces, while Kamal weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Sanya, and the three ringside judges are Efe Wushishi, Rabiu Ekpoki and James Ezenwaka.
