Nick Alele vs Elderson Ajasoro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Ezekiel, Kano,  taking place on 27/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Alele (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Elderson Ajasoro(9 - 9 - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Alele weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Ajasoro weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Adebola, and the three ringside judges are Chinedu Monu, Izunna Obiefuna and Corey Wabara.
