Waqar Srour vs Gazi Hameed

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Selangor promoted show at Petaling Jaya Doud, Petaling Jaya,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Srour (10 - 0) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Gazi Hameed(11 - 7 - 3) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Srour weighed in at 105 pounds, while Hameed weighed in at 104 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Othman, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Madani, Kamran Ahmed and Sajid Bari.
