Jack Maskell vs Justin Sloss

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 28/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Maskell (7 - 5 - 6) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Justin Sloss(2 - 6(1) - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Maskell and Sloss weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Lawman, and the three ringside judges are Dave Pera, Noel Haxton and Ian Fergerson.
