Ivica Prpic vs Ewan Haxton

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Bakersfield Jabara, Bakersfield,  taking place on 02/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ivica Prpic (3(1) - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Ewan Haxton(2 - 2 - 2) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Prpic and Haxton weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Juarez, and the three ringside judges are William Shawn, Sam Lowe and Morgan Kneeland.  

Round 1: 

Prpic closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Prpic ties up his opponent.  Prpic pushes his forearm into Haxton's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Prpic lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Prpic holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Prpic pushes his forearm into Haxton's face.  The referee warns Prpic and breaks the clinch.

Prpic lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Prpic attempts to land a left hook, but Haxton parries the shot and counters with a cross.
