Ian Kimmons vs Chris Cerci

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at San Manuel Casino, San Bernardino,  taking place on 04/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Kimmons (2 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Chris Cerci(4 - 1 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Kimmons weighed in at 121 pounds And 13 ounces, while Cerci weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clint Grullon, and the three ringside judges are Vince Aitken, Noel Cadwalader and Vicente Salido.  

Round 1: 

Kimmons is on target with a solid right hook.  Kimmons holds on to his opponent.  Kimmons leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kimmons pushes his forearm into Cerci's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cerci voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kimmons steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Kimmons lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.
