Umut Solak vs Altan Ekici

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Izmir promoted show at Izmir Sezen, Izmir,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

Clearly AI Turkey-Izmir have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umut Solak (19 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Altan Ekici(18 - 3 - 4) from Izmir, Turkey.  Both Solak and Ekici weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Coskun Tagmach, and the three ringside judges are Iskender Tekeli, Iskender Tekeli and Ediz Ahmad.
