Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Telangana promoted show at Hyderabad Nallakannu, Hyderabad,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

Clearly AI India-Telangana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Telangana Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Damodar Brahmbhatt (5 - 5 - 3) who hails from Hyderabad, India and Akil Matthai(8 - 5 - 1) from Hyderabad, India.  Both Brahmbhatt and Matthai weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Faraj, and the three ringside judges are Ashoka Kamdar, Chandrasekar Kalla and Kamran Bari.
