Ryo Seto vs Ryo Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Oyama, Hiroshima,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hiroshima have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Seto (6 - 20 - 1) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Ryo Higashi(9 - 8 - 4) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Seto weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Higashi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Oye, and the three ringside judges are Goro Tengan, Takeshi Yokoyama and Jun Hironaka.
