Umut Elmaci vs Erdem Cos

Boxing Daily Report from the Chikwalakwala Promotions promoted show at Izmir Ganem, Izmir,  taking place on 01/05/2026:

Clearly Chikwalakwala Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umut Elmaci (16 - 4 - 3) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Erdem Cos(4 - 5 - 2) from Izmir, Turkey.  Elmaci weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Cos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Selim Tekin, and the three ringside judges are Devrim Agca, Adem Sozen and Tunc Sevi.
