Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 12/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joe Wan (1(1) - 1) who hails from Leeds, UK and Arthur Christison(0 - 0) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Wan and Christison weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Whelan, and the three ringside judges are Jay McCaa, Justin Dalton and Mark Rhind.  

Round 1: 

Wan is on target with a jab.

Christison leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wan pushes his forearm into Christison's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wan.  
Wan drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Christison steps inside.  Wan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Wan holds on to his opponent.  Wan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Christison tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wan behind the head. 
Wan steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Christison blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Christison closes the distance.  Wan throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Wan ties up his opponent.  Wan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Wan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Christison's kidney. Wan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wan is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Christison is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Wan hits home with a solid left hook.  
Wan lands a stinging cross.  Wan throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wan is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Wan steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wan advances into close range and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Christison lands a right hook.  
Christison gets on the inside.  Wan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Wan holds on to his opponent.  Wan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Wan tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Christison hits home with a cross.

Christison steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Wan drives a left uppercut into Christison's body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Christison dabs at his face checking for damage.
