Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Durban Founda, Durban,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Tshimpumpu (12 - 1 - 2) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Ndumisa Mabokgwane(11 - 11 - 1) from Umlazi, South Africa.  Tshimpumpu weighed in at 215 pounds and 6 ounces, while Mabokgwane weighed in at 244 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Steven De Lange, and the three ringside judges are Louis Muamba, Lehlohonolo Cardoso and Ebi Muthambi.
