Joshua Bagley vs Ricardo Banales

Boxing Daily Report from the Carson Lelis promoted show at Syed Yousuf Gym, San Francisco,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

Clearly Carson Lelis have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Bagley (6 - 10 - 6) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Ricardo Banales(7 - 12 - 3) from Long Beach, USA.  Bagley weighed in at 125 pounds And 12 ounces, while Banales weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Carrasco, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Pollino, Vicente Salido and Davie Keir.  

Round 1: 

Bagley is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Banales lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
