Leon Perry vs Elliot Shanklin

Boxing Daily Report from the Najjemba Promotions promoted show at Paul Jones Gym, Charlotte,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

Clearly Najjemba Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Perry (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from Greensboro, USA and Elliot Shanklin(6 - 6) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Perry and Shanklin weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan Creelman, and the three ringside judges are Dave Jernigan, Mark Baxa and Ethan Easton.
