Louis Carns vs Alex Strom

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Hovet, Stockholm,  taking place on 06/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fighting Louis Carns (11(6) - 0) who hails from Bristol, UK and Alex Strom(9 - 2 - 3) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Carns and Strom weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Berwald, and the three ringside judges are Rasmus Loftin, Axel Ansell and Hugo Sandel.

Strom hits home with a right hook.  
Carns throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Strom cuts off the ring, trapping Carns on the ropes.  Carns lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Carns lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carns holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Carns pushes his forearm into Strom's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Carns about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Strom's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Strom's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
