Eldar Salim vs Fedar Rahimov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Tajikistan-Sughd promoted show at Khujand Saidi, Khujand,  taking place on 29/05/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Tajikistan-Sughd Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eldar Salim (15 - 4) who hails from Khujand, Tajikistan and Fedar Rahimov(13 - 5) from Istaravshan, Tajikistan.  Salim weighed in at 222 pounds and 14 ounces, while Rahimov weighed in at 246 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Farahim Usman, and the three ringside judges are Parvin Habib, Afanas Erckesh and Zernebog Moldogalieff.  

Round 1:

Salim forces Rahimov to back into the corner.  Salim sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rahimov attempts to land a left hook, but Salim sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Rahimov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Salim drives a left hook into Rahimov's body.  
Salim is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Salim feints a left, and then lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.
