Gulbahar Akar vs Levent Guvench

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Istanbul Uzumcu, Istanbul,  taking place on 01/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Istanbul Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gulbahar Akar (12 - 5 - 1) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Levent Guvench(10 - 11 - 3) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Akar weighed in at 122 pounds, while Guvench weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Metin Emer, and the three ringside judges are Iskender Akdemir, Savas Dagdelen and Bayram Atan.
