Gervasio Peralta vs Manny Almonte

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Portilla, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay-Montevideo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gervasio Peralta (15 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Manny Almonte(10 - 1 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Peralta weighed in at 147 pounds, while Almonte weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yago Montejo, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Gramajo, Manuel Damaso and Salvador Coronel.
