Phornello Matonka vs Lamech Chidakwa

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Simaubi, Lusaka,  taking place on 31/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phornello Matonka (14 - 3) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Lamech Chidakwa(8 - 7 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Matonka weighed in at 107 pounds and 12 ounces, while Chidakwa weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vandwon Sipalo, and the three ringside judges are Napoleon Nanyangwe, Simba Lemba and Rich Kabaghe.  

Round 1:
