David Baughn vs Aaron Gaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Cletus Van Damme promoted show at Dragan Stjepanovic Gym, Nashville,  taking place on 03/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Baughn (8 - 6 - 3) who hails from Nashville, USA and Aaron Gaw(15 - 3 - 1) from Baton Rouge, USA.  Both Baughn and Gaw weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Dey, and the three ringside judges are Billy Dey, Robert Davidson and Robert Davidson.  

Round 1: 

Gaw advances into close range and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Gaw lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Gaw hits home with a firm cross.  
Gaw steps inside and manouvers Baughn onto the ropes.  Gaw quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gaw lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Gaw throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gaw lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Baughn steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Gaw sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Gaw is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gaw tries to land a left uppercut, but Baughn blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gaw lands a solid right uppercut.  
Gaw steps inside.  Gaw sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm right uppercut into Baughn's body.  As Baughn tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gaw dabs at his face checking for damage.

Gaw is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Baughn in a neutral corner.  Gaw pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.
