Banji Chipendo vs Jamie Gezi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Chitungwiza Nkhatha, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 03/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Banji Chipendo (6 - 3 - 2) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Jamie Gezi(7 - 5 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Chipendo and Gezi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peabo Chikwava, and the three ringside judges are Steven Joubert, Michael Chipeta and Oliver Magwa.
