Melor Merece vs Zacarias Alcaraz

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 20/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Melor Merece (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Zacarias Alcaraz(17(4) - 3 - 1) from Valencia, Venezuela.  Both Merece and Alcaraz weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Brisbane, and the three ringside judges are Jason Farrell, Brandon Whalen and Leon McPeters.  

Round 1: 

Merece throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Alcaraz time to recover.
