Griffith Braddick vs Ken Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Andy Graham promoted show at David Ajiborisha Gym, London,  taking place on 02/06/2026:

Clearly Andy Graham have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Southern England Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Griffith Braddick (7 - 8 - 1) who hails from Swindon, UK and Ken Owen(12 - 9 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Braddick and Owen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marcus McCallen, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Beddoe, Ali Parsa and Tommy MacNeal.  

Round 1: 

Owen gets on the inside.  Braddick pivots to the left of his opponent.  Owen lands a left hook.  
Owen is looking to close the distance.  Braddick throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Braddick ties up his opponent.  Braddick pushes his forearm into Owen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Braddick about fouling.

Braddick lands an overhand right.  Braddick tries to land a cross, but Owen parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Braddick switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.

Braddick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Owen connects with a cross.  
Owen steps inside.  Braddick pivots to the left of his opponent.  Owen throws a left hook, but Braddick clinches his opponent.  Owen throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Owen and breaks the clinch.  
Braddick throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Braddick is on target with a left hook.  
Owen throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Owen is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  Braddick ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Braddick's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
