Gennady Bilsons vs Sergei Kalkmurnieks

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Skonto Halle, Riga,  taking place on 22/07/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gennady Bilsons (17(2) - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Sergei Kalkmurnieks(15 - 0) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Bilsons and Kalkmurnieks weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Prusis, and the three ringside judges are Vikenti Zilite, Kolzak Auzkalns and Afanas Tevinsh.
