Anthony Nixon vs Josh Apted

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Central England promoted show at Stoke Ardis, Stoke,  taking place on 06/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anthony Nixon (13 - 5 - 2) who hails from London, UK and Josh Apted(5 - 4) from Northampton, UK.  Nixon weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Apted weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Loch, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Litts, Owen Saunders and Ian Lowery.  

Round 1:
