Connor Kanu vs Musa Nyauza

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ofosu-Ayeh Gym, Khayelitsha,  taking place on 29/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Connor Kanu (2 - 0) who hails from Boksburg, South Africa and Musa Nyauza(2 - 2) from Tembisa, South Africa.  Kanu weighed in at 118 pounds, while Nyauza weighed in at 116 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Runako Mashaba, and the three ringside judges are Colin Ntuli, Runako Mashaba and Jake Tshipapayi.  

Round 1: 

Kanu closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kanu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kanu feints a right, and then is on target with an overhand left.

Kanu gets on the inside and manouvers Nyauza into a corner.  Kanu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kanu pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kanu is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kanu hits home with a left hook.  
Kanu is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Kanu lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Kanu advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.
