Phornello Segolela vs Ian Mupariwa

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 22/05/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Phornello Segolela (2(1) - 0) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Ian Mupariwa(1 - 0) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Segolela weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mupariwa weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jackson Mnyamane, and the three ringside judges are Bernardus Hertzog, Bongani Zungu and Quaddus Rascalimu.
