Granger Hane vs Elliot Kandji

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Gage Herard Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 01/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Granger Hane (11 - 9(2)) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Elliot Kandji(8 - 7 - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Hane weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kandji weighed in at 174 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sid Soumah, and the three ringside judges are Yves Diedhiou, Reinald Mbow and Gaston Ndong.
