Leighton Platt vs Robert Gibson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Jean Trottier, Montreal,  taking place on 18/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Platt (7 - 0) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Robert Gibson(7 - 7 - 2) from Calgary, Canada.  Platt weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Gibson weighed in at 125 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Destin Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Aitken, Johnny Smith and James Dunlap.
