Diego Bandera vs Edmundo Vizcaino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Marco Ventura Gym, Manta,  taking place on 09/06/2026:

Clearly AI Ecuador-Manabi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Bandera (14 - 4 - 4) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Edmundo Vizcaino(18(2) - 1) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Bandera and Vizcaino weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cris Victoria, and the three ringside judges are Xaver Barbo, Rio Lona and Vicente Robaina.  

Round 1: 

Vizcaino advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
