Ben Gatti vs Euan Eckford

Boxing Daily Report from the Asamoah Promotions promoted show at Maison de la culture, Gaineau,  taking place on 26/05/2026:

Clearly Asamoah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ben Gatti (1 - 1 - 1) who hails from Pittsburgh, USA and Euan Eckford(0 - 1) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Gatti weighed in at 118 pounds, while Eckford weighed in at 117 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Granger Hinault, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Aaron Henry and Prewitt Gedeon.  

Round 1: 

Eckford is looking to close the distance.  Gatti digs in a right uppercut to Eckford's body.
