Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Ariake Arena, Tokyo,  taking place on 01/08/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Youth Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikio Furuya (18(11) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Ingmar Bidstrup(17 - 3 - 2) from Aarhus, Denmark.  Both Furuya and Bidstrup weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Fukumoto, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Ide, Hisoka Yamamoto and Nori Tamanaha.
