Tofiq Bacchus vs Qazanfar Dzhavad

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Baku Aliev, Baku,  taking place on 15/05/2026:

Clearly AI Azerbaijan-Absheron have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tofiq Bacchus (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Qazanfar Dzhavad(5 - 3 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Bacchus and Dzhavad weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fazail Babayev, and the three ringside judges are Seyfulla Ismailov, Urfan Abaskuliyev and Ahmed Beibutov.
