Hideki Aoki vs Kenji Sonoda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Saitama Fukushima, Saitama,  taking place on 23/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hideki Aoki (6 - 0) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Kenji Sonoda(3 - 2 - 2) from Yokohama, Japan.  Aoki weighed in at 239 pounds And 12 ounces, while Sonoda weighed in at 240 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yutaka Hora, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Kawahara, Satoru Shimabukuro and Ichiro Mizuno.
