Alfonso Tamayo vs Orlando Romano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Atlantico promoted show at Barranquilla Herrero, Barranquilla,  taking place on 16/05/2026:

Clearly AI Colombia-Atlantico have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Tamayo (2 - 7 - 4) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Orlando Romano(6 - 5 - 2) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Tamayo and Romano weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Cobos, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Luz, Francisco Puebla and Alejandro Sarmiento.
