Boxing Daily Report from the AI Denmark-Region Nordjylland promoted show at Sven Jepsen Gym, Aalborg,  taking place on 17/05/2026:

Clearly AI Denmark-Region Nordjylland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Denmark-Region Nordjylland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ludvig Mathiesen (10 - 0) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and Viljalmr Soenksen(2 - 13 - 5) from Aalborg, Denmark.  Both Mathiesen and Soenksen weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ib Boie, and the three ringside judges are Knute Lunn, Mats Brich and Kelsey Ager.
