Boxing Daily Report from the AI Denmark-Region Nordjylland promoted show at Sven Jepsen Gym, Aalborg,  taking place on 17/05/2026:

Clearly AI Denmark-Region Nordjylland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Denmark-Region Nordjylland Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denholm Vig (8 - 7 - 4) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and Soren Bidstrup(7 - 9 - 2) from Aalborg, Denmark.  Vig weighed in at 237 pounds And 12 ounces, while Bidstrup weighed in at 226 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mats Brich, and the three ringside judges are Ib Boie, Knute Lunn and Kelsey Ager.
