Antonio Meraz vs Paco Navas

Boxing Daily Report from the Handila Promotions promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Palomino, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 17/05/2026:

Clearly Handila Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santiago Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antonio Meraz (7 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Paco Navas(7 - 11 - 1) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Both Meraz and Navas weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Laris, and the three ringside judges are Juan Minjarez, Carlos De Anda and Guillermo Garzon.
