Rob Fergusson vs Cole Smith

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 27/06/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rob Fergusson (18 - 3) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Cole Smith(15 - 4(1)) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Fergusson weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Smith weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Corey Pait, Johnny Deasmhumhain and Billy Pryce.
