Juan Montano vs Juan Villagrana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Camaguey promoted show at Santiago Tinajero Gym, Camaguey,  taking place on 18/05/2026:

Clearly AI Cuba-Camaguey have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Camaguey Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Montano (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Juan Villagrana(17 - 1 - 1) from Camaguey, Cuba.  Both Montano and Villagrana weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Linares, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Diaz, Diego Martin and Diego Martin.
