Cruz Olivarez vs Leonardo Abrigo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 15/06/2026:

Clearly Ngcobo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Olivarez (10 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Leonardo Abrigo(13 - 8 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Olivarez and Abrigo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Fanuco Recio, Urvano Domingo and Reyes Amaro.  

Round 1: 

Olivarez closes the distance.  Abrigo is on target with a right hook.
