Hassan Elmoudaber vs Kashif Allam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Cairo Jalil, Cairo,  taking place on 18/05/2026:

Clearly AI Egypt-Cairo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Cairo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hassan Elmoudaber (14 - 8 - 2) who hails from Cairo, Egypt and Kashif Allam(7 - 4(1) - 1) from Cairo, Egypt.  Both Elmoudaber and Allam weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Samra, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Noorani, Azam Azar and Atif Charobim.  

Round 1: 

Elmoudaber feints a cross, and then attempts to land a right hook, but Allam sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Allam tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Elmoudaber steps inside.  Elmoudaber wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Allam has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Allam tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.
