Zacarias Abascal vs Santiago Brion

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at Isidro Calistro Gym, Mejicanos,  taking place on 18/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal 17, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Abascal (4 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Soyapango, El Salvador and Santiago Brion(5 - 0) from San Salvador, El Salvador.  Both Abascal and Brion weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Navar, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Aja, Sagaz Rodiguez and Alejandro Torrez.
