Vincent Nfumu vs Stephen Uys

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 18/06/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vincent Nfumu (8 - 0) who hails from Tembisa, South Africa and Stephen Uys(9 - 1) from Roodepoort, South Africa.  Both Nfumu and Uys weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phumelele Mkhize, and the three ringside judges are Uba Akamenya, Colin Ntambwe and John Cele.
