Meinrad Jungwirth vs Othomann Gerwig

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Baden-Wurttemberg promoted show at Jarmann Johnsen Gym, Freiburg,  taking place on 19/06/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Baden-Wurttemberg Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Meinrad Jungwirth (3 - 13 - 2) who hails from Freiburg, Germany and Othomann Gerwig(10 - 9(1) - 1) from Stuttgart, Germany.  Both Jungwirth and Gerwig weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Berty Henck, and the three ringside judges are Kurt Kuk, Konni Geil and Wilfredo Bieneman.  

Round 1: 

Gerwig advances into close range and forces Jungwirth to back into the ropes.  Jungwirth connects with a left hook.  Jungwirth throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Jungwirth's body.
